GENERAL CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Under general supervision, duplicates original copy per customer specifications
requiring some independent judgment and application of basic policies and
regulations.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates, maintains, adjusts, and makes necessary minor repairs on all
equipment including a variety of office copiers and other reproduction
equipment. Contacts company representatives when serious maintenance problems
occur.

Makes decisions within established guidelines as to what can or cannot
be copied. Answers questions on rates and policies; maintains good customer
relations.

Maintains an accurate daily statistical tally of all categories of reproductions
produced and cash received.

Maintains inventory of supplies.

and Responsibilities are examples of the variety and general nature of
duties performed by employees in positions allocated in the class. The

KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of proper operation and care of various kinds of reproduction
equipment.

Knowledge of copyright laws and policies concerning reproduction of printed
material.

Knowledge of proper lifting and bending techniques and ability to lift
50 pounds.

Skill in operating and maintaining reproduction equipment.

Ability to follow oral and written instructions and interpret institutional
and other policies accurately.

Ability to maintain records accurately and prepare required reports.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people
at different levels and from various backgrounds.

Ability to set priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
CLASS SPECIFICATIONS:
Any combination of clerical experience or post secondary education or training
that totals one year.
