Non-Organized Merit Classification Information

Refers to all classifications in the “100” Merit pay grades (also referred to as “Supervisory”) and to Merit employees in positions designated as Confidential. Positions are designated as confidential because they have access to information that is subject to use in contract negotiations. All Merit employees are considered non-exempt staff and are eligible for overtime as provided by the Fair Labor Standards Act.
