Discipline (Due Process)

Discipline is the process used to identify and correct undesirable behavior of employees. The objective of progressive discipline is to eliminate undesirable behavior and to provide the employee with due process. The university's discipline policies and collective bargaining agreement describe the specific processes established for Organized Merit (AFSCME), Non-Organized Merit, and Professional and Scientific.

The Employee and Labor Relations Office may be involved in advising both the employee and management.
