Training and Development consultation services can be of assistance to departments or individuals in dealing with planned or unplanned change. The role of Training & Development consultants is to structure activities that help work groups find effective ways to solve problems and adapt to change in the following ways:

Training & Development can help 1)determine if a team is necessary, 2) guide the team through the various stages of team development, and 3) coach and counsel existing teams through difficulties and growing pains. Whether forming, storming, norming, or performing, Training Specialists will stimulate and support teaming efforts to help accomplish the task at hand.


2. Conflict Management

Conflict is a natural part of people working together. Members of the Training & Development staff are certified conflict mediators and will assist in establishing a process and developing interaction skills for successfully handling conflict situations.


3. Process Improvement

Any number of chronic and special problems can become a barrier between you and your customers. Process mapping, determining root causes, and analyzing the impact of various causes are ways we can help you describe the current situation and identify areas for improvement.


4. Strategic Planning

Training & Development consultants can facilitate a process to help answer the questions of the difference between a mission and vision, who are our competitors, what are the trends, and how can we create and maintain a leading edge. Training & Development consultants can help develop a strategic planning process and guide departments through it.


5. Group Process Facilitation

Retreats and planning and evaluation sessions can add tremendous value to any group and how it accomplishes its mission. Training & Development specialists offer an expertise in facilitation skills, and can give guidance to staff and teams in planning and group processes.
